Author, Michael V. Bourland, one of the directors of The Foundation, is the founding shareholder of the Forth Worth law firm of Bourland, Smith, Wall & Wenzel, P.C. Bourland received his BA and JD degrees from Baylor University and an LL.M. in Taxation degree from the University of Miami, Florida. Bourland is Board Certified (Estate Planning and Probate Law)-Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a former member of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Council (State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section).
