Damani Leech

Damani Leech has worked at the NCAA national office for over 15 years.  In his current role as Managing Director for

Damani began his career at the NCAA in 1998 in the Membership Services group, prior to joining the Championships staff in 2003. Championships and Alliances, he provides strategic oversight and direction for multiple NCAA championships – including Division I football (FCS), women’s volleyball, men’s ice hockey and baseball – in addition to managing the Association’s playing rules & officiating department.

Damani Leech is a former football student-athlete at Princeton University, earning Third-team All-America honors and earning First-team All-Ivy League as a defensive back three consecutive years.  A native of Tacoma, Washington, he received his bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and International Affairs from Princeton University in 1998 and earned a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University in 2004.

Damani is married to Dr. Tamara Leech – Indiana University Associate Professor of Public Health –  and has two daughters, Brianna and Simone.
